Torino

No, it's not the site of the Olympic games.
It's in neighbouring Slovenia, taken on the day first medals were awarded.
There is a fine track near Kranj which is of a lot of use during this winter, full with snow here, even in this height of 400m ASL. A lot of kids and youngsters took part in the competition and they were trying as hard as they are on the Olympics. Blue dominates this picture, snow taking the colour from the clear day above. Same weather luckily we are seeing in Torino. Taken at the same place as this one.

Well captured shot as the skiier is sharp, in the sun and you got his poles and shadows in the frame as well. I like how the shadow of the trees on the snow frame him.

Good action, panning works fine! Good details in the skier, in spite of difficult backlighting... Good colours and a pleasing composition!

I like here the capture of the action, I can feel the effort. It's good too that you left space on the right. Maybe another place and guy could have provided more contrasting impact, this blue is not so powerful against the shady surroundings.
