Photographer's Note

Today a break from the moon shots.
Venus was high in the sky just after sunset on the 21st of december last year at 6pm. Venus always follows the sun in the evening or lead it in the mornings but is always close to it, rarely it gets far from it and never you can see it in a completely dark sky. Although ist's our closest planet, we are so far from Venus that even with biggest zoom on your camera, you see only a point of light. I used the great weather conditions that day to capture all sunset glow in its full glory and also a favorite alignment of Venus with the crane. This crane featured in another alignment before on TE and is still in front of my window as works on the new building close to an end.
Venus is from that time gone from the afternoon skies.
