Photographer’s Note

The beautiful country road going was come to town the Zahara de la of Sierra. It is then to be the the most maybe interesting specimen of buildings of type pueblo exchanged on fortress. Houses from covered with red tile roofs concentrated tightly round church and lock on dark rock in monotonous extensive scenery this really admirable view. The Zahara de la of Sierra was Moors' formerly important city. His conquest in 1483 year unlocked to reconquista of Ronda, and later Granada.

Jozef,
Thsi is a nice shot of this mountaintop fortress. The wall and buildings in the foreground lead our eye into the shot and toward the fortress. The off center placement of the fortress works well giving the shot a nice sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The deep blue sky is great and provides an excellent backdrop for the scene.

Hiszpania to nie Irlandia i widze, ze tam o swiatlo nie trzeba sie martwic ;) W Alicante podjalem sie wspinaczki na podobnie usytuowany zamek, ale niestety "rzucielm rekawice" bo to bylo w lipcu i temperatura chciala mnie zabic ;) Bardzo ladnie pokazane.

It was certainly a very safe castle with such high location. The picture is very nice and the POV adds to the importance of the defensive idea behind the construction of the castle. Well done.

Hello Jozef,

The remains of constructions in the hillside tells the story of a different time, when defence against possible enemies often decided the location where to build!
This is a fine composition with good lead-in and fine depth, colours are well reproduced in the vivid light...
