Photographer’s Note

This is a shot from a walk in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, old Jewish quarter in Seville (Juderia). I probably don’t have to advertise it because most tourists end up walking here anyway. The district is very pretty, I don’t recommend to eat there though. The food which we got was really overpriced and we could not eat it. Instead try to find places were the locals are eating.

Czesc Mariusz,
Od wczorajszych wieczornych obserwacji typu "patrz wyzej" az mnie szyja boli;) Ale wracajac do zdjecia- jest kilka rzeczy, na ktore trzeba zwrocic tutaj szczegolna uwage. Pierwsza z nich to swiatlo a raczej jego rozklad- idealnie naswietlone, choc wiadomo jak to czasami wychodzi w tego typu fotografii. Druga sprawa to faktycznie sprytna kompozycja. Ten balkonik, ktory umiesciles u gory sprawia wrazenie uderzajacego o sasiednia kamieniczke. Dobre!!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie a pogoda sie nie przejmuj- taki deszcz to nie deszcz;)

Me gusta la composición, la idea de unir la fachada de la casa con el suelo del balcón dl edificio de enfrente...refleja que la calle es muy estrecha, permite respirar la atmósfera de calle medieval sevillana.

Hej Mariusz,
No pojechałeś ostro tym zdjęciem. Światło boskie a kolory tak nasycone i głębokie, że podejrzewam użycie filtra CPL, który dodaje zdjęciom takiego "zawodowego" blasku w sensie nasycenia kolorów. Samym softem trudno tak zrobić...
Piękne architektoniczne detale, ale światło i kolory dodają zdjęciu trzeci wymiar.
Kompozycja nietypowa i dlatego interesująca. Rzeczywiście warto patrzeć w górę (choć ja ostatnio szperam tuż przy ziemi). :)

Quite unusual and pretty unique low pov! I think it's great with magnificent visual results!
Sharpness and exposure are perfect! Colors are wonderful! The composition with all those architectural details is truly wonderful too!

this is one of such unusual points of view which I like very much!
This almost "geometric" photo conveys a good depth and dynamism - with the house reaching for the infinite blue sky! The natural colours, the light management are very good, indeed! Very good, original composition :)
