Photographer’s Note
From the lookout of San Nicolas in Granada unfolds this view of the Alhambra, with the Sierra Nevada in the background living up to their name (Nevada means snowy). The buildings at the front are the Nasrid Palaces, built in the 1300s by the Nasrid sultans. The large square building behind is the Carlos V Palace, begun in the 1500s, but not finished until the 20th century.
Polariser used. In Photoshop I used the gradient tool to brighten up the lower half of the photo and darken the upper half to accentuate the mountains.

Great one Vincent,
you were there about a month after I was so the snow had melted a bit more. (The snow does appeal much more, I think, to people from down under!)
You've got it with good lighting and the greens are great. Good memories for me too!
cheers
Ian

Hi Vince, this is a technically superb photo. The depth is really impressive, as is the exposure, clarity and saturations. The light on the buildings is also worth a mention. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.
