"El Río" (The River) is the name of the strait between the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. My previous posting showed the interior of the Mirador del Rio, this is the vista from up here. The place used to be an artillery position before it has been turned into a visitor magnet by Lanzarote's artist Cesar Manrique.
At almost 500m above the sea level, one is almost at the same height as the passat clouds that are constantly drifting in from the north-east and casting their shadows on the scenery. |

A great view with special colors.
The shadows of the clouds add some nice graphycal patterns

Dieser Blick ist ja wirklich atemberaubend - und diese Farben auch. Das Muster der Wolkenschatten auf Land und Meer ist ein zusätzlicher Kick hier. Ein Foto, das Fernweh hinterlässt ... ;-)
