Photographer’s Note
Why the clouds in my village are so special?
I don't know, but here you have a new proof.
If you follow that road, Cocoland is only 300 or 400 meters far from this point. I mean I really close and I could enjoy an amazing and warm light. The Sun would disappear only a few minutes later and the sky was terrific.
It was difficult to shot because the light, but finally I was able to do this photo and... and I hope you like it.
PD: I want to dedicate this photo to our friend Don Manuel because he loves sunsets (also he thinks sunset is better than Sunrise because is better sleeping)

Shooting into the sun is always difficult to manage, as the dymanic range is so high you get either under or over exposure. The tiny bit of over exposure is nothing to worry about here as the rest of the sky has plenty of drama. So... the road will lead me to your favourite place!! :D

Don Carlos!!!!

Hi Carlos
The clouds of your village are actually special and original, but they are beautiful.
It is true that in this picture you can feel the warmth of "Cocoland".
Bon Weekend et amicalement

Hola Cocolandia

Hi, Carlos,
I'm fond of fantastic skies. This one certainly qualifies!!!
I don't think I've ever seen the atmosphere with the colors you have rendered here.
The ground looks quite normal for dry summertime under the clouds. So my impression is that your photo is rendering well what the sky actually looked like at that time (instead of some artifact of how the camera recorded it).
For the composition, you've chosen well to use most of the frame for the impressive atmosphere and I like how the road leads the viewer into the main subject. The land below is important to your image, too, because it lends a sense of authenticity to the overall color rendering.
Very nice!
Regards,
- William

Hello Carlos,
All these colours in the sky are fantastic but a very important part of your picture certainly is the landscape under that sky and of course the road starting in the right bottom corner and after the curve leading straight to the horizon adds to the beauty of the composition.
I think I can agree with Don Manuel about his preference for sunsets instead of sunrises :)
PS: What is the capital of Cocoland ?
Best regards, Paul

Hola Carlos!
I must admit that it's a fantastic view. The sky is very dramatic with the "endless" road and the small hills. Did you use any filters?
TFS!
Cheers,
Marci

Hello,
I'm very impressed by how well you've captured these clouds. They seem to draw the viewers eye down the road. I'm also struck by how much this looks like a scene from the dessert Southwest of the US. I can easily see why the Spanish Conquistadors were so interested in that region - it looked home. Well done!
Sincerely,Kate

Hola Carlos,

Saludos.
Luis.

Hello Carlos,
A very beautiful composition as well in the framing of the landscape as in the image processing. I like much this celestial painting, the colors are superb. The road, in the prolongation of the clouds in the sky, accentuates the depth of the image and this extraordinary feeling of space. Well done Carlos, cheer.
With all my friendships and a very good end-of-day,
Jean-Charles
