Photographer’s Note

Valdoviño es un municipio español situado en el noroeste de la comunidad autónoma de Galicia, en la comarca de Ferrol. Ocupa una franja costera desde la playa de Campelo hasta la entrada de la ría de Cedeira.

Playa da Frouxeira

La más famosa y visitada del Concello de Valdoviño. Se puede considerar una playa semi-urbana. Dispone de todos los servicios que se pueden esperar de una playa de estas características. Sus más de tres kilómetros de longitud de fina y blanca arena y sus más de 45 metros de anchura la convierten en uno de los arenales más grandes de Galicia. La playa es ventosa y con un fuerte oleaje.

Valdoviño is a Spanish municipality located in the northwestern region of Galicia in Ferrol region. It occupies a coastal strip from the beach Campelo to the entrance of the estuary Cedeira.

Frouxeira's Beach

The most famous and visited the Valdoviño Concello. Can be considered a semi-urban beach. It has all the amenities you would expect from a beach with these features. Its more than three kilometers of fine white sand and more than 45 meters wide making it one of the largest sand Galicia. The beach is windy and with a heavy swell.

Bonito paisaje del Atlántico ??...En el norte parece que se estila mucho el pasear por la arena, no tanto en el mediterráneo, por lo menos el catalán...saludos

bela perspectiva você conseguiu dessa praia. Imagino que seja um final de tarde. Essa luz suave realmente deixa a leitura da foto muito agradável. Para completar, as pessoas que dão mais vida à cena. Parabéns!

Wonderful end of summer scene with the large crowd of sunbathers getting their last day at the beach.
The green hills contrast brilliantly with the clear blue sky and turquoise sea with its dramatic surf.

This is a great shot of this fine beach. The angle of the shot is great with the shoreline leading the eye through the shot. The people add life and and motion to the shot.
The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness and detail.

Et oui 'été touche à sa fin, ici il fait encor très chaud et l'autonme n'a pas encore commencé, sueprbe iamge de cette plage avec les belles vagues, les personnages, grandiose.

Hello Charo,
Interesting to see all these people walking backwards and forwards along the shoreline as if they are taking part in some sort of group exercise? I like the point of view which takes full advantage of the long sweeping shoreline. An image full of animation captured under a good light. Very good sharpness throughout.

Bonjour Charo,
C'est assez insolite de voir tous ces gens marchant parallèlement à la mer. Elle est peut-être devenue trop froide pour s'y baigner. Le cadrage est habile comme d'habitude. La vue est profonde. J'apprécie le détail des maisons sur les pentes vertes. Excellentes lumière et couleurs. Bravo.

Hola Charo!
Para ustedes es el fin del verano y para nosotros, del invierno! Pero acá, en Brasil, donde vivo, mucha lluvia y poco frío! Y la primavera me parece que vá ser de mucha lluvia también, en el sur del pais!
