La Puerta de Madrid is a city landmark Madrid Alcala de Henares (Madrid, Spain). It is located on Calle Andrés Saborit of the town near the center of the same, resulting from the traditional entry route linking the town of Alcala Madrid. Madrid in turn has a Gate of Alcala in geographical correspondence with this complutense.

Replacing one of the gates of the old city walls. It was rebuilt in 1788 during the reign of Charles III, by Cardinal Lorenzana, archbishop of Toledo. Directed the work the architect Antonio Juana Jordan. The building is stone pediment and neoclassical label. It is considered the latest work of architectural splendor of Alcalá.

As a curiosity, has seen some movies. For example, the classical triumphal procession passes under the arch Spartacus, 'romanized' purpose.

The space is behind the door, once crossed, was decades before the name of Square Barley. Today, in the street is assimilated to the surrounding streets.
