Photographer’s Note

Almonte, Andalusia village, lays del Condado onubense between the countries and the prominent Andalusia beaches. The sun, the light and the sea salt award these countries the particular charm Vineyards and olive groves, chestnut oak grove and jaws, borders, dunes, swamp and beaches unite in this border corner of the old Andalusia and break the outlines and traditional stereotype to offer a new face of the southern region to the visitor.
The village of Almonte possesses an extraordinary monument heritage with remarkable buildings, as the hospital del Cristo de la Sangre, the church Parroquial of de la Asunción, cloisters of Santo Domingo and San Francisco of Paula, the administration of Almonte, as well as the monument of la Patrona de Almonte, opposite the baroque church. The church of the Asunción, La Plaza Virgen del Rocío with its white front, is delighted in the XV century, and after the earthquake, from Lisbon 1755, one reconstructed you in its current baroque physiognomy.
We encountered exactly on feast consecrated for Virgin's Maria from del Rocio, from here such floral adoption before church. In city hum and party - then, Spanish fiesta.
