Photographer’s Note

The last picture of Iglesia de la Conception, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife: a closer view of the tower.
The main post has been modified with PS Element 6.0 to correct the curve induced by the wide angle lense.
The original view in in workshop.

These are also my last "non maritime" pictures for a while: it is May 16, 17.25 pm, I have a rendez-vous with the Dutch lugger Tecla in Santa Cruz harbour at 6 pm. The ship will be my home for the next 4 weeks, and the departure for the great Atlantic crossing is for tomorrow...

A beautiful achitectural photo with many details visible. I like especially the composition here with these green branches and this blue sky is a stunning background here. You managed the difficult light here skillfully.

Hello Emmanuel,

That is an impressive church tower!
I like the composition with inclusion of the foliage, it works well here as it is difficult to make sense out of very tall structures...
Excellent details and fine colour reproduction!
