Zermatt has been a tourist destination for over 100 years. The village is of course changed a lot over the years. Newer buildings are bigger than old, but styles match well, and nothing looks too modern. Building with Harry's Ski Bar is obviously one of the older ones.

A good photo of the old bar and its traditional wooden design, which looks great in this appealing sunlight. Good viewpoint and narrow composition as well. The mood is relaxed and the person waiting outside well included.

Hello Kari,
Maybe the man in the shorts found the Ski Bar closed in the off season, so now he is checking his phone for an alternative. But it's a nice building and the old wooden wall almost glows in the strong light. The steep mountainside in the background indicates that lots of skiers may assemble here in the winter.

Hello Kari,

It's a delightful, wooden chalet, so typical of what you expect to see in the Swiss Alps. We stayed in a similar looking chalet in the French Alps and though it looked old and traditional on the outside, the inside had all modern conveniences.
You coped well with the light differentials.
I like your chosen aspect which includes the figure and some b/g details of the terrain which draws the tourists here.
I wonder if this is Harry, checking up on some expected guests.

Hello Kari, Nice picture from the famous ski resort. Nice wooden hut with some items hanging on the walls. And of course, someone looking at the mobile. Well, I do not call or check social media, but I use GPS and map in my smartphone, and it is for me very useful and important. Maybe this guy also looks where he should to go.
