Photographer's Note

This is the tongue (this is how we call it in french, don't know if it is also used in english...) of the Chaltwasser glacier below Monte Leone in the swiss Alps.

The glacier is regressing very rapidly, loosing many meters in thickness and length every year. No one knows when glaciers will completely melt, but they're actually regressing very rapidly in the Alps. Sadly there is no will to try to reduce our consuming to save our climate.
