View of the River Thames that flows through southern England and parts of London. Picture focal point is London’s defining landmark the Tower Bridge built in 1894. The Thames is a very active river and has ample walkway on both sides, many bridges, and lots of river traffic.

Hi David,what a traffic,the perspective is a winner,we can see very well all the lot of boats on the Thames,perfect composition with the bridge in background very sharp and bright,i like it! About your question about Omani houses, they actually collapse quickly if they are cured, they are made only of mud and straw.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello David,

The Thames is a very busy river and was instrumental in the development of London.

WE often see photographs of the iconic Tower Bridge but you have included more details to confirm the importance of the river. The bridge would definitely have to be raised for the large boat to travel beyond!
A nicely composed and interesting shot.

Such an iconic view of London with Tower Bridge in the backdrop bathing in such a beautiful light. The Thames is really busy in the foreground with a great variety of different ships. Well captured.

I had to take a closer look.
its great how the blues and whites of the bridge come out so well, even from way back here. and the darker blue sky is the perfect backdrop to the scene. nice shot! cheers
