Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Claude and I have been sharing photographs that we took at a Dragon Festival in Salford but those who have never been to Salford may be struggling to understand the location so I thought I would post this photograph, taken from the Lowry Art Gallery, to show one of Salford Quays, where the festival was taking place.

Of course there are always windows and wires that can interfere with a clear view but, for the most part, the scene is clear.

Those bulging buildings in the background are modern flats called the NV buildings. (NV said as letters = ENVY, people were envied for living in such a lovely spot!)

This was obviously a good place for a festival with the water for the boats, easy tram links, good parking facilities and lots of varied places to eat.

As a workshop, I will add a photograph from ground level looking in the opposite direction.

Enjoy your day, Bev :-)
