Well seen--maybe the DOF could have been either narrower or wider, the background seems too almost-sharp, and maybe it would work better if it were either tack-sharp or very blurry against the foreground flowers.

Hello Asana,

A well composed picture with the tulips in full bloom and extremely sharp, the tree and the mountain in the back. I wish the sky was a bit darker.. The scenery is so pretty that if I were you I would come again and again until finding the appropriate light: Perhaps the sky was atoo cloudy on that day.

the focus is on the tulips and the bg is
slightly oof, maybe a slower exposure
with 1/160 and f/8-10 would give a higher dof.

This is so beautiful it almost looks artificial, Assana! The mountain in the background has an almost monochrome feeling about it and then one's eye moves to the bright colours in the foreground - two very different dimensions in one image.

I am amazed at the depth you have in this shot with only f4. The stars of the show are undoubtedly the tulips, but the tree and mountain provide an excellent background. Possibly there is a bit of over-exposure in the sky but nevertheless this is a fine image.

This is a lovely composition with the tulips in the foreground, Asana. The exposure and the saturation of the flowers is excellent, but unfortunately the sky is a little over-exposed. I don't know whether the Canon G3 takes filters, but a graduated ND filter would have overcome that problem perfectly. Cheers . . . David
