Very beautiful photograph of the desert or I could spent one week of trek to Libya, and I realized of the difficult life that can have the people of the country to live, on your photograph sand is splendid by the light which you knew used, your voyage has really to give a satisfaction by the landscapes different S that you show us. Your Iran series so far is genuinely impressive, Lucie. Your whole portfolio shows your eye in capturing graphically appealing settings in a special mood of light, and it seems that Iran was an ideal match for you, photographically speaking. This one is very nice in the way the shooting angle conveys a deep perspective along the dunes, and the rippled foreground patterns serve well to lead the viewer's eye to the more luminous areas of gently undulating shapes in the background. Nice work.

Hi Lucie. Must be quite an experience to have visited Iran (especially now). I'm very fond of those desert pictures. And this one is particularly good: good zones of sun/shadow, nice colours and a particularly good foreground with that "ribbled" sand. Well done.

What strikes me most about this photo is are the intricate lines in the red sand. The contrasts are superb and I like the small part of violet sky.

Another gerat shot and good capture of the light.
The sand creates a natural artwork which eye can follow to... nowhere.

Desert has always been my obsession as well. Just as your "Dunes at Maranjob" photo, it has that something. Beautiful shot with amazing sand patterns. I also like the color of it which is so strong usually in the morning. Great photo.
