Taken in Shazdeh Garden (Prince Garden) in Mahan located at 40 kms from the city of Kerman.
It was constructed at the end of Qajar era (19th century) and was used as the summer palace of Prince Abdul Hussein Farmanfarma. The irrigation system and the small pools built inside the garden which are designed in a way to look like a staircase are its unique and valuable characteristics.

The two girls took part of a female group of students from Shiraz and in visit to the city of Kerman and its surroundings.

To enhance the "mystic" atmosphere, I applied a so called "midnight sepia" filter in pp which added some blur effect, desaturated and darkened a bit.

Hello Szili,
This is an amazing portrait from a country like Iran, I believe that the girls usually cover their face. The PP treatment is nicely done enhnacing the atmosphere caused by her stare. I prefer the colour version as it's more balanced.

They were not so confidential after all, if you have managed to make such a closeup. Who knows, aybe they were talking about you! I like both versions, the filter obviously works well for portraits.

Fantasztikus eszközökkel sikerült bemutatnod ennek a bizalmas beszélgetésnek a hangulatát! Nem tudom, miben gyönyörködjek előbb: a kép hangulatában vagy az eszközökben, amivel elérted ezt a gyönyörű hatást! Ahogyan bemutatod a sötétlő ruhákkal keretezett fehéren tündöklő és merengő arcokat, az külön fejezet érdemel a kép pozitívumainak méltatásában! A szemből látható női arc elgondolkozó és merengő arckifejezését, tekintetének fátyolos vibrálását mesterien kaptad el! A jobbról hozzáhajoló fehérlő profil képbe-komponálásával a bensőségességet és az intimitást gyönyörűen sikerült bemutatnod! A kép erényeire a „midnight sepia” technikájával tetted fel a koronát: ez egy tökéletes kép! Kissé fáradtan, de remélem sikerült elmondanom és érzékeltetnem, mennyire tetszik a fotód! Gratulálok, és külön pontok az érzékenységért, amivel a témát kezelted! Csodálatos munka!

To me this si the finest specimen of cropping; cropping delibrately to achieve the results.
Your focus on the eyes infront and the lips on the right side brings the perspective.

Fantasztikusan elkapott,gyonyoru pillanat. Ezek azok a kepek, amiket igazan tetszenek! A lany tekintete sokatmondo, valoban nagyon nagy bizalamt arszat. Tetszik, hogy a kepbe belevetted a lany beszelo partneret is. Igy teljes a foto!
A szepiavaltozat nekem szemelyesen jobban tetszik, melegebb tonusaival kifejezobbe valik a lany odaado, erdeklodo hallgatasa.
Huu...mennyi dolgot osszehordtam itt neked.

The glance of these great and beautiful black eyes is impressive. I like the atmosphere that you have given to the photo in PP, it creates a a little mysterious sensation, and you have given a very interesting dark tones him, that they are able to emphasize much the pale tone of the skin of the girls in contrast to its so dark clothes.

Nice portrait and a good, close up shot with the guy to the edge of the frame. This gives a good compositional feeling to the scene and some narrative too. I'm not sure about the sepia filter blurr, as I find it a bit too blurry; but the overall effect and mystic atmopshere is brilliant. Very creative, imaginative, and well done.

What an incredible portrait. The moment is spectacular with the young woman caught in the moment of secrecy. What stunning beauty the forward facing girl has with such deep black eyes...incredibly expressive. Wonderful use of the filter in PP with her face standing out so well from the black covering. But what is PP? ..is it Photoshop that you added the effects from?

This is the kind of photograph that you remember for a long time. It is superb. I generally prefer pin sharp portraits but this one has so much strength.

Amazing interpretation of a subject that I saw often (having travelled 3 times in Iran) - I would never have thought of taking such a photo, and you have transformed it into a sort of beautiful pastel painting, emphasizing the intense look of the girl...

Érdekes kép. Szerintem a PP-vel nem igazán misztikussá, inkább sejtelmessé tetted a hangulatát, de csak annyira, amennyire minden női tekintet sejtelmessé válhat. Nekem igazából az a meglepetés benne, hogy hiányzik az egzotikum. Az jut eszembe róla, amit Heller Ágnes mondott, hogy ugyanis az irániak sokkal közelebb vannak hozzánk, mint azt mi gondoljuk. Akár görögök is lehetnének. Ettől a szempártól mindenesetre nehéz szabadulni.
Ja, és persze itt is kipróbáltam az új játékszeremet, nem mintha szükség lenne rá - de talán nem bánod, hogy elküldöm WS-ben.
