i do love mosques...both as the place where you may spiritually rest for a while...and for their unique charm as a subject for photograpgy...interiors are exceptional...so are the colours, shadows, sounds or silence (depending on the time of the day)...

Amazing colours in this shot, Lucie. You have captured the silence and light pouring into this spiritual place very well. It's like a kaleidoscope. I like the composition which allows for us to look down the the corridor under the arches and lamps to the robed person, a woman I presume. Very pleasing shot.

Beautiful photo! This really shows the brilliant colour of the glass as the sun shines through it. The soft glow on the columns and ceiling is very good too, and the person walking down the hall adds a very important element to this. Excellent!

Hi Lucie,
I love the rich colours spread throughout the image, and the bursts of sunlight provide great contrast within the frame. Reading you're note, I must say that I think the carpets are a positive in the shot, as they have provided bright colours of their own....the sun beams have picked up the rich colours in the patterns, and provide a second focal point in the frame. The woman in her abaya is a good inclusion too. Really nicely done Lucie.
