Tradition and modernity is mixing in Kuwait City.
The picture was taken at the Marina Mall which has every kind of stores. It is large, airy and ideal for lunch or an evening promenade and it features an area at the centre of the mall full of stylish cafés.

C'est la toute l'ambiguité de certains pays mais aussi leur charme.Contraste entre le moderne et l'ancien mais aussi entre les couleurs vives et le noir.

A fine documentary, the contrasts so well shown.

Picturewise a funny paradox here too - normally a colorful background can kill any picture but here it helps by underlining the black in her clothes.

This is a great photo. Your title sums it up very well. All of the contrasts are what makes this a great shot, the traditional and modern, the black burka vs the colorful wall in back etc. Well done!

Contrast is the proper word to define this image.
Contrast in colors, traditions, fashion.
Contrast in the shoes, textures of materials and composition lines.

Ujra Magyarorszagon!! Tegnap erkeztem meg Berlinen keresztul, most mar itt is jo az ido! Vegre!
A kep fantasztikus es sokatmondo, a csadorba oltozott holgy( de benne is van modern stilusjellemzo:a taska es a magastalpu cipo!) a modern srac mellett. Szerencses, hogy igy egymas szerepelnek a foton. A hatterszinek pedig kulonoson szepen kiemelik a ket szereplo oltozeket. Nagyon tetszik ez a fotod is!!
Te hogy vagy? Orulok, hogy jol sikerult a gasztronomiai turned Magyaroszagon.
