Hi Lucie, very excellent colours and textures seen in this "Sea of Sand". This is complemented with your composition, with a perfectly placed sprig of grass and those footsteps heading over the hill. The very small view of sky provides the perfect contrast to the rest of this shot.

Which site am I on now? Since we are both on these sites I get mixed up over which shots I've posted where. You are a true master of the desert shots, and this is another great example. The colour and texture is really amazing in this. I also like the tuft of grass there, with the sharp spikes of grass contrasting so well with the smooth sand. Beautiful as always!

Undoubtedly that is one takes precious, with intense hues, sharpness and contrast.

But most striking is the graphics that occurs throughout the picture, with those capricious shapes caused by the desert. Great balance and excellent composition.

great composition, and nice colors (a bit oversaturated, but I'm not sure as it may be the light of the evening as well).
But a greater depth of field would have been better as the foreground is unsharp. So: a tripod and a smaller diaphragm...

simple but very nice shot , very resumed, it seems of being able to walk over.
i like the strong colors of the sand ,only broken from the green grass
and blue sky .
