I remember the forest fires of 2003. This image is very well framed. The colours, specially the water and sky look awesome. I see the water carries lots of sediment here. Good light and colour saturation. Thanks Gerald :-)

Would we have used this road to go to Waterton NP from Banff? It is the Prairies direction on the image address that makes me wonder. I love the traditional milky green colour of the water around there. You have composed the image well with good use of the river bank to lead the eye into the frame. The sky is glorious and the touches of colour from the wild flowers add an extra element.

The aquacolor of the water realy catch my eye. Good use of the oever line to lead the eye into the mountain. I hope that fire never destry it.

Hi, Gerald. the river creates a nice perspective in the image leading the eye towards the background. The sky with its beautiful clouds is a good backdrop to the ridge. The flowers in the foreground add a diiferent touch of colour and depth in the image.

Everytime I see photos in this region, I just love the colour of the water and the perfect form of the trees. The foreground with the little flowers is very attractive and the curve by the river adds depth. I find that the sky is slightly over contrasted.

What a beautiful vivid blue dramatic sky you have captured here as it streaks over the rugged peaks while the lovely turquoise river is beautifully farmed the lovely evergreens and lush grasses.
Colors are marvelously clear with striking details to this fine mountain image.

Gerald,
a nice composition with the flowers in the foreground and the river leading to the forest and mountains in the background. The clouds obviously are an integral and most important element crowning the picture. The overall impression is a good one, although the softness makes me wonder if you used the right aperture.
