Hi Neighbour, Well if it is coming up to autumn there that can only mean that in Melbourne we will soon be delivered from a cold wet winter. So, selfishly, I think that is a good thing :-). I like this shot a lot, the lines created by the different colours add a good graphic element taking the viewer to the farm buildings on the horizon. Perhaps a little too much sky, but maybe not. cheers, Steve

Your title brought to my mind the Doors song: Summer's almost gone... Where will we be when the summer is gone... etc..!
Good view with strong perspective and depth provided by the lines of different colors of crops... Just enough sky.

Karen, it is pretty picture with good elements and colors but what are we looking at? What kind of crops is/was in these fields? This not anything wrong just some curiosity that I have about what I see.

Hello Karen.
I think Scandinavia and Canada have a lot in common, including the much too short summers. This is a very neatly composed picture of these decorative lines across the field. The colours are as great as always.
