Photographer's Note

To zoom in, please take a look at the larger post.

This is a panoramic stitched photograph of the Naukuchiatal lake, taken from opposite the Tandon house. The lake is named after its nine corners. The place is quite conducive for adrenaline-seeking hyperactive adventure lovers willing to throw themselves off a cliff, dangling off a rope. I'm not one of them. I prefer quiet treks where I can peacefully view the landscape, and talk to the village people.

It was in the middle of monsooon rains; mud was everywhere. Despite the winds and persistent mist, I managed to take several consecutive shots of the place. This was before I discovered Hugin, so the manual stitch in PS might have incurred some errors.

I know the scene may be a soft and misty, but I still think it portrays the environment quite well.
