Hello Karen,
A fine barn in a nice setting. The fences create an interesting pattern. To my mind, the wall of the barn looks a bit like a face with a somewhat surprised appearance. Or like a non-smiling smiely. But I'll give you a double, green smiley for this one.

I know you like old barns, so Alberta must be a beautiful playground for you ;-)
The deep greens look wonderful, but also the contrast with that dark red and the way you placed it all in to this composition looks pretty good. Missing a dark blue sky with big fat clouds...but we can't have it all ;-)

This time you have captured the composition well in showing saturated grass green to contrast with the barn and using the fences to divide the green patches in diagonal.

Good perspective pov.

Quite pretty the barn and quite pretty its surrounding: good idea to include a good portion of the field and the pond. The grass is incredibly green!

The blood red colour of the barn stands out against the green. The crossing fences create a strong graphic interest. Well composed with the barn off-centre, with the fences also providing good lead-in lines. Good work!

a very nice farm shot. love the green and the fresh mood. i see, you have used f/4. why f/4 for such a scene? i have to note though that that f/4 still has given you great DOF here. were you using a digicam (they're known to give great DOF even at very wide openings).
