Photographer's Note

Here is the old shearing shed in Willandra National Park (so there are no sheep), once again on dead flat land. As you can see outwardly it is still in reasonable condition. In isolated areas it used to be popular to put the name of the property on the roof of the shearing shed and, in this case, longitude and latitude. This was for the benefit of planes in the past using visual navigation.
Properties like this are quite isolated and very large. Willandra is 193 square kilometres in area. It is 150km from the nearest large town (Griffith).
