Let me make a break on my promenade around the Japanese fair to show you this man washing the benches of a tinny chapel near my house. The chapel is so tinny the benches are outside it :)

Just like brazilians go to Japan to look for money to send to their families here, people from the northeast part of Brazil come to São Paulo to find 3K jobs. They usually send money to their parents, and hardly ever go back to stay...

Oh, yes, he is washing the benches for the weekend mass. There´ll be a special mass next sunday, Mother´s day here.

THe waste of water is rather offensive, I know.

pp: the crop was tricky, although minimal. turned to b&w and played with levels, curves. I wish I had a cam with manual control...
