Mirante do Vale

In my Sampa portfolio this building can’t be omitted. The Mirante do Vale building. Due to its sheer scale and structural monotony, it is a mind boggling example of a classic modernistic façade in overdrive. It’s in downtown Sao Paulo and overlooks the viaduto Santa Ifigmia and the Av. Prestes Maia. It's the tallest building in Sao Paulo and Brazil. Built in 1960, this office tower has 51 floors and rises 558 feet (170 meters) . In 1988 the building was renamed from Palácio Zarzur Kogan, a reference to the coffee aristocracy, to Mirante do Vale.

PCS3 tech: altered the saturation, contrast, curves and levels for the whole pic and some elements separately, enhanced the edges, USM-ed, added a frame and resized and did a gentle USM again. I didn't correct for perspective and lens distortion deliberately.
