Boiling geyser in El Tatio, 4300m up in the Atacama altiplano. The stream created by the geyser takes several colors - the red in the lower part of the picture is due to particles of iron in the water.

whilst most of the shots on TE are getting to look like a snapshot and lacks the artistry or imagination. this one has more to offer the eye in terms of composition and interest and quality. so gets full marks from me.
