What a wonderful wide almost panoramic view of this spectacular landscape. I really love all the foreground detail with those strange orange grasses and rocks. Beautiful snowy peaks and I like the starkness of this landscape and the way the image is layered with the water inbetween.

esse deserto de atacama é uma fonte inesgotavel de boas fotos, e vc soube aproveitar muito bem sua 400D..e o uso do filtro polarizador, que nesse lugar é fundamental..
parabéns pelas fotos, vi algumas rapidamente, mas certamente vou voltar pra ver melhor as outras.

Olá Pedro,
Uma vista espetacular do Atacama em uma composição bem equilibrada e rica. A escolha do corte me parece acertada, ao incluir dois pontos de interesse deslocados do centro e mediados pela diagonal da colina: as duas montanhas e o aglomerado de rochas basálticas. É uma cena naturalmente cativante, com todas essas cores e texturas diferentes, igualmente bem capturada pelo fotógrafo.
Interessante, no entanto, que, em f/22, apesar de o primeiro plano estar bem nítido, o fundo não apresenta a mesma pungência. Acho que isso se deveu à compactação jpeg. Talvez possa tentar compactar a imagem de modo a gerar um arquivo mais próximo do limite do TE, 200Kb. Pode tentar também, se tiver photoshop, reduzir a imagem original em incrementos e, após cada redução, aplicar “unsharp mask”. Após a penúltima redução, se quiser um resultado com bastante contraste, aplica um “sharpen” (pode dar um fade no filtro também) e executa a última redução, agora sem “unsharp mask”. É assim que costumo tratar minhas imagens, dosando os filtros e os incrementos dependendo do original (nível de ruído, etc.).

Hi Pedro,
this your desert picture makes my Red Sea Hills negligible despite your kind comment. The contrast between desert/sand and mountain/snow is really astonishing to me! This POV would absolutely deserve a large panorama stitching version, also because this makes possible to upload a greater version on TE. Congratulations, great posting straight on my preferred.
