Beautiful shot of the river and the fisherman is a perfect finishing touch. I lived in Suriname for two years and loved these rainstorms as one could hear them coming. I'm sure you're used to it, but thanks for that memory.

A fine wide-angle view of this peaceful scene. Excellent composition - the water in the foreground provides a wonderful rippled reflection of the dramatic sky. I like that the is almost evenly divided with the right side lighter and the left darker. Well seen and captured.

The sight that you have caught in this setting with a wide angle is magnificent and deep and the symmetry created by the horizon line gives a lot of strength to the scene.
The boat with the fishermen and the solitary fisherman in the shore they offer the vital and dynamic touch, and the great beauty of the clouds and the sky, with its nice reflections in the water, complete an extraordinary image.

Remarkable picture from Suriname. At first sight it looks like a typical Dutch scene with a large water surface with fisherman’s element and the clouds in the sky, but then I find out that there was another association with Holland.

A perfectly split 1/2 frame, proper for a reflection. The reflection is great and the cloud formation well captured and seen. As for the human figures they remind me of japanese paintings.

what a low sky! I thought that only in norther countries you have clouds so low. It gives the sense of the imminent rainstorm. Beutiful reflections on the water and the solitary small figure makes the place even more wide!

the poles in the water beside the low pov emphasize even more the great depth and the beautiful feeling ov vastity. The sky reflected in the water is just amazing to look at and makes the difference in the compo with the little boat giving a good extra focal point. Hello Ertugrul,

I realized that it has been some time since I last looked at your pictures, and I imagine that by this time you must back in Surinam. I am glad I found this one where the 10-20 mm Wide Angle was really used with knowledge. We can see a magnificent
display of clouds and some silhouettes including the fisherman are contrastin well with their black color. The dark cloud which is on the left side balances the silhoeuettes which seem more dense at the right side.
It was a real plasure to have met you personally in Istanbul and I appreciated your gift of old rum.
