"Early" morning sun (11:54) that lasts for most of the 3 hours that you can see any sun at all - on my way to the south of Lofoten.

Hi David,
spectacular subject. The sun light in the best hour is the most important part of this photo, but also the reflection adds something to the composition. Wonderful colors; maybe too much saturated?

Your photo brings back memories. This is Norway as I remember. I loved the way you cpatured the warmth of the sun on the mountains and its reflection on the water. Small houses add to the warmth... Good clear and beautiful shot. TFS.

This is a great shot with wonderful lighting. Your composition is great with a fine reflection. The reflection provides nice depth and balance for the shot. The low angled lighting provides nice color and detail. The houses placed off center attracts the eye to one side of the shot.

Hi David,

Very interesting to see this place during winter....amazing light..!!! The Lofoten stands high on my list, but not in winter, but also in summer with almost 24 hour of light it must be great to be there. I will miss all that snow on the mountains what you got here, so that makes your picture to an excellent version as winter landscape.
A great shot in composition, but even more in light....well done.

Good use of the "morning" lights to create some nice colors in this grey and white environnement
The reflection is quite good and smoothes the rough aspect of rocks

Great shot ! This very wild and cold landscape is warmed by those sunbeams that give orange colours to the top of the mountains. Very nice reflection. I love the small houses that give an idea how big this landscape is.

I like very much your shot!
Excellent exposure keeping the most of details while the difference of light and shadow is great! The sunrays give to the peaks a warm tone as well as to the water, working as a mirror.
