Photographer’s Note

Another view on Reine in the remote south of Lofoten. It's a tiny fishing village with a population of only a few hundred, with the European Route E10 connecting Sweden and the end of Lofoten (place called A i Lofoten) passing through.

Lovely contrast here: the brilliant red of the houses stands out well against the white of the snow covering the peaks in the background. Good point of view and composition.

You're brave going to the Lofoten in winter but I must say the the mountains are so impressive covered in snow and the cute, red building contrast so well. I just love that style of architecture.
