Sunset over the Glasshouse Mountains Photo

Photographer’s Note

As we were leaving Brisbane bound for Noumea in New Caledonia, we were farwelled by these beautiful golden rays of sunshine setting over the Glasshouse Mountains in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It was a precious sight to see, because it is not often that you see the mountains from this vantage point and with a beautiful sunset behind.

this is a beautiful sunset! nice composition and I like the rays of light in the BG creating a nice golden color in the clouds!

Interesting composition, beautiful colours, I like the suns rays up in the clouds and that the movement of the water can be seen in the foreground. It must have been a magical feeling to see this scene in real life.

nice warm and intimate moment captured here, I like the sky and the golden rays... in french its called `pied de vent` , the shadow of the mountains is interesting, great job,

Nice timing for this one with the suns rays through the clouds, a different angle from a ship to see the sun setting. Hope you enjoyed the voyage.
