Photographer’s Note

This a 3rd picture is taken in southern Hälsningland at the same occasion as my two previous posts. The same subject as in my first post of there series but a diffreent POV and with the inclusion of the farm house.

An another excellent use of morning's light. A great place. The reflections are superbe and the tree in the FG give a great depht to the image. An another very good photowork.

This might very well be the best one of your three photos from Hälsingland. Where exactly is this? Wherever, this could nearly make me sing like Anders did in his previous critique:) But this is still the ultimate Swedish picture!

I like this composition very much: the vertical line of the small tree on the foreground in contrast with the horizontal areas of the lake and the piece of land with the house and the forest.

A scenery that is seen in calendar photos and this is such a soothiing view to enjoy a quiet moment of light, trees and nature.

Very nicely done in composition and exposure. I think the tree is really a strong feature. Good depth even at f/4

Sharp and impressive.

Bonjour Ulf,
un paysage tout simple , brut et sauvage. Il est aussi tellement paisible et respire la fraicheur du matin. Tout cela se ressent bien.
Parfaitement cadrée avec cet arbre décentré, une bonne capture des lumières matinales.

After three days without pc, I am back.
The calm lake with a fine veil of fog, the morning sun breaking through!
A very attractive scene, enhanced by the wild flowers.
A tranquil scene well framed!

This is my favourite among the morning lakeside captures!
The reason for this is the composition, where none of the elements interfere with another...
The pine on the shore stands out well and creates fine depth in the frame!

I thought I had commented on this photo... but it turned out vice versa. Better late than never :)
I find it a very beautiful shot with a special mood which is created by the absolutely still reflection in the water and this curuis "union" of the water and the sky on the right, behind the tree. Interesting composition in many ways.

Morning is the best time to catch reflections on water before the breeze gets up to ripple the surface. These reflections are beautiful. The composition is also excellent with the inclusion of the foreground tree and the narrow strip of land to provide an extra layer. The morning light is great for a peaceful scene. Definitely the best of your trilogy!

This photo is not so well balanced like the first one and this fact gives a certain dynamism even in a perfectly calm environment. The low lights and warm colours of morning (doubled by the nice reflection) produce a very pleasant atmosphere.
Congratulations once again to the whole series!
