Photographer’s Note

Are they happy?
Is enough grass to eat,to produce milk,
and they enjoy the beautiful landscape too,
I guess they are happy!
And happy cows make better milk!

I took the photo in the National Park Eifel,in the background the lake 'Rursee'

Yes, they looks happy. They are grazing in a beautiful peaceful surrounding. It is good that their milk is better for they have to compete with the wines from the region.

η ευτυχία είναι σίγουρα ευεργετική για όλα τα πλάσματα.
Το περιβάλλον που μας μεταφέρεις είναι πανέμορφο και το ιδανικότερο για μια φάρμα.
Η φωτογραφία σου είναι άψογη απ' όλες τις απόψεις. Πολύ καλό κάδρο με πλούσιο περιεχόμενο που παραπέμπει δεκαετίες πριν τη βιομηχανική εποχή. Η Γερμανία καταφέρνει να συνδυάζει όπως φαίνεται το παρελθόν με το παρόν επιτυχώς.

Bonjour Dimitris,
c'est une région que je connais très bien, j'y vais une ou deux fois l'année, faire cette balade autour du Rursee.
Un angle de prise de vue toutefois complètement nouveau pour moi et très avantageux.
Des monts à l'arrière plan un peu bleutés.

Mooo! I prefer a steak, if you don't mind, because I am kind of allergic to milk... Thinking better, I prefer to see these bovine beauties complementing the wonderful view of those green mountains... I think that having a brown cow on the corner makes the photo more interesting, as it contrast with the majority of black and white cows in the closer planes.
