Photographer’s Note

A daily life scene from my village which is situated on the banks of river Kabul. One can see young boys trying to beat heat, which happens to be very extreme in July-- August. Given the loadshedding of electricity in the area, they flock to the river to have some recluse from scorching heat. People also bring their buffalos to drink water and also beat heat.

Hello Aamer,
This is a fine and lively scene showing daily life in northwestern Pakistan. It is captured with good colours and fine light. It's also nice to see that there is a lot of water in the river. When I was last in Kabul city five years ago the river was completely dried out.
