Photographer’s Note
Earlier this year I posted a photo of the old Honfleur harbour whilst I was travelling. Based on comments back I've now been able to do some work on it. I've used a polarizing filter (it wasn't a great day for photography) and I've cropped out a little of the foreground.
The original comments:
On this year's trip we spent a couple of weeks in France following our time in Morocco and Spain (currently in Germany before returning to France). We enjoyed a week staying in a gite in the Risle valley in Normandy and made a trip for the day to the beautiful old port of Honfleur. Don't know that we've ever visited such a picturesque old port, with all the tall skinny buildings that line 2 sides.
The weather wasn't good.
As I don't have access to the full Photoshop program whilst we are travelling I have not done any other adjustments.

Ian,
This is a nice shot of this historic port city. The reflection is great adding depth and balance to the scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Hi Ian,
A Nice postcard from Honfleur, very colorful. I was there early in June and it rained so no opportunity to take pictures.
Have a nice day

Hello Ian
Though I leave near Honfleur and I know perfectly this lovely city, I'm never tired with this typical but so lovely sight.
The months passed but the atmosphere is always the same : the same boats, the same marvelous reflections on the basin, the blue sky (to contradict JY)... Even in winter the stroll around the harbour is delightful... and more peaceful !
An elegant presentation, compliments.
Regards
Karine
(Funny, I just saw you've taken this shot on my birthday ;o)

To Ian
Fantastic shot! This is an interesting area with all the houses along the water. I like all the repetition. I am so in love with this, it is going to go in my favorites list.
Even better knowing you barely retouched it!
See you,
Tosca
