Photographer’s Note

The Seongsan Bridge (Korean: 성산대교) is the 12th bridge that crosses the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. The bridge links Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu and Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. The bridge was completed in 1980 and it is 27m wide and 1,410m long.

The picture was taken at the breezy riverside under the northern end of the bridge at 6:30 p.m. There were lots of holiday-makers everywhere.

This one is quite attractive in the main gallery, with the bike and the huge red curve.
Indeed, the photo itself is perfectly done, it is a showpiece on smart selection of low POV, and minute application of timing. Very well done.

fine capture of this red bridge from a very effective low POV. Also a great composition with cyclist, passenger and bridge perfectly placed. Beautiful colour-contrast between red bridge and blue sky in the backgound. Well done.

I like the low shooting angle, the warm cold color contrast, between the red bridge & blue sky, & the bridge framing the woman at left. Perhaps I would have motion blurred the cyclist even more, but it still looks great, as is! Tfs!
