Photographer’s Note

The catches of this helicopter at the time of my bateme seemed to me of such a beauty, of such a size qu it summarized for me the country, big spaces, great beauty of the landscapes.
This fog which goes up from there as a mushroom shows us L energy degagee by this water which fall into this horseshoe of any beauty.
With before you see the bar before this helicopter, and in the fog you see the boat which goes to the feet of the rocks, another strong moment of these visits.

IN WS TWO OTHER PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH ARE WORTH THE SORROW OF IT I FIND

The Niagara falls, commonly called falls of the Niagara (43°4 ′ 55 ″ NR 79°4 ′ 19.5 ″ O/43.08194,-79.072083) are a whole of water falls located on the Niagara river in the east of North America, at the border between the United States and Canada. The falls of the Niagara (English Niagara Falls) are in fact triple: “Horseshoe” (Horseshoe Falls) or Canadian falls; “American falls” (American Falls); The “wedding veil” (Bridal Veil Falls), of a less size. Although they are not particularly high, the falls of the Niagara are very broad. With a flow [1] of more than 2.800 m3 each second, they are the most powerful falls of North America [2] and certainly most known [3] throughout the world. The falls of the Niagara are re-elected for their beauty. They are also an immense source of hydroelectric energy and their safeguarding is an ecological challenge. This natural wonder, high-place of tourism since more than one century, is shared by the twin cities of Niagara Falls in the State of New York at the United States and Niagara Falls in the Canadian province of Ontario. The falls of the Niagara, as well as the river the North-American Niagara and Big lakes, appeared at the time of the deglaciation which followed the glacial period of Wisconsin, there are approximately 30.000 to 50.000 years. For this period, the area of Wisconsin was covered by an enormous continental glacier (ice cap laurentidien) which while creeping towards the south since the Eastern Canadian territory crushed and transported rocks and grounds on its course. It surcreusé valleys, sites of the future lakes, and barred others by moraines of them. During and after the cast iron of l' ice caps, the rivers had to cut through a path towards the North-West, in an upset topography, by incising new beds. The current localization of the Welland channel would correspond to an old valley. The floods coming from the Big lakes upstream formed the current Niagara river. This one not being able more to follow its old embanked valley borrowed a new discharge system then passing by a northern escarpment of glance qu' it eroded in throats. This escarpment is a face of cuesta due to a dip monoclinal towards the south [4] and to the resistance of the geological formation of Lockport [5] (- 415 million years, Silurien), resistant to l' erosion, between the lake Érié and the Lake Ontario. The lower part of l' escarpment, made up of marine rocks largely former to the last glaciation, was thus subjected to l' erosion of the Niagara river. Three geological principal trainings are with l' outcrop in the gorges of the Niagara. (Wikipedia)
