Photographer’s Note

The Mountain Park Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel is the largest and finest of its kind in Europe. There are many amazing historical sights. The palace, the temples, grottoes, fountains, etc., are an ideal backdrop for wedding couples. The autumn period is the most colorful of the year. A stroll in the sunshine opens the heart and the senses. The bride and groom in the distance I saw in passing. On the left, the Temple of Apollo and the right, the Hall of Socrates.

splendida questa panoramica con bellissimi colori e con qualche albero che si tinge di dorato.
Bella l'inquadratura con gli sposi sullo sfondo...

Tja, man muss sich damit abfinden - es geht wieder in Richtung Herbst. Aber so schöne Tage (hier war's genau so schön) lassen einen fast vergessen, was bevorsteht. Ein wunderschönes Landschaftsbild in einem herrlichen Licht - mit Brautpaar als "Zugabe". Der große Anteil an Rasenfläche wirkt hier toll, aber ich meine, die Farben sind etwas zu gesättigt. Vor allem das Gras ist auf meinem Bildschirm fast giftgrün.
Einen schönen Sonntag aus dem frühherbstlichen Siegen!

Your photo displays an excellent composition of a most attractive scene with outstanding lighting and superb colors.

I like the repetition of threes.
(1) Three main zones in the frame: the grass, the autumn foliage, and the background (hillside, sky, and clouds).
(2) Three important details, nicely arrayed in the frame: the two buildings straddling the wedding party.

The low sun angle helps illuminate the scene to great effect.

Hallo Wolfgang,

du hast ja schon viele Bilder aus diesem tollen Park hochgeladen, aber dieses hier gefällt mir besonders.
Ich mag die Farben und vor allem die Tiefe, die hier grandios wirkt..
auch bei uns bereitet sich die Natur langsam darauf vor, das wird mein nächster Schwerpunkt werden..

Quite fantastic to see these autumn colours already, in fact much more in Kassl than here n Gothenburg. I guess the altitude has a clear importance here... However, a very fine picure where the bride and groom catches the eye here, like some characters from a film. The long shadows over the bright green grass are also focusing on this couple.

ein sehr schöner herbstlicher Eindruck, die Natur ist bei Euch doch schon ein ganzes Stück weiter. Wunderbare Farben und klares Licht, ein ganz starkes gesättigtes Grün als Kontrast; das Brautpaar ist natürlich das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Klasse Arbeit!

so, this is one of those "landscapes, which nobody wants to see", as you said? ;) Doesn't look like that, judging by the amount of comments to this photo!
It's a refreshing, picturesque view which raises the mood: the bright sunshine, the autumnal beautiful colours...
very good composition (my only remark, as in most times, is: I would like to see more of the sky, perhaps... but I always love the sky) :)

na klar, wo anders als hier fotografiert zu werden? Die Anlage ist so idyllisch, bereichert durch die bunten herbstlichen Farben und die langen Schatten, dass man sich kaum ein besseres Ambiente für Hochzeitsfotos vorstellen kann. Herrliche Farben!

The mix of tree species makes this a colourful view!
Great light, and the huge lawn leads nicely to the point of interest but I guess the bride is not a usual element in the scene...
Anyway it is a fine autumn day, well recorded!

Here is a splendid park which I will like to visit a day. Although the park of the castle of Versailles is large, I think that here it is even larger… The autumnal colors and the light are superb, I like much your point of view which gives a beautiful feeling of space. Bonjour Wolfgang.
La photo est très belle. J'aime la lumière qui baigne ce paysage. Les mariés ont choisi un beau décor pour leurs photos de mariage. Les arbres deviennent bruns ou roux selon leur nature.
