I'm thirsty... Photo

Photographer’s Note

Usually, the innocence of the child is...amazing.

Here, one of the most picturized kids of El Salvador in my trip, Lizandro, was, obviously, thirsty.

What did he do? Well, he went to the plastic glasses we had, took one, looked and me in this way and no words were necessary.

Podria ser el mejor, o al menos el mas optimista de los grandes retratos desde America Central, aunque me gustaria ver esta foto con el enfoque en estos ojos enormes!

Hola amigo Oscar.
Has estado en Guatemala, Mexico y ahora te veo en El Salvador y no pasas por la República Dominicana, que bárbaro.
Por supuesto si usas un f2.8 el vaso plástico te sale en foco pero la cara del niño que creo es mas importante te sale fuera de foco, me parezco a Coco con sus criticas, la verdad que me da pena tenerte tan cerca de mi país y no haber venido.

Pues a mi me gusta el enfoque, pues aunque el niño queda algo desenfocado, se ve muy bien su carita de alegre-tristeza. Bien hecho!

Hola Òscar,
no entro en el debat del punt focal que has escollit, al cap i a la fi sempre és el fotògraf qui tria com fa la foto, i això s'ha de respectar.
El got està ben nítid, doncs aquest és el tema de la foto, acompanyat perfectament per la mirada i el somriure del nen, que es converteix en el tema subliminal de la composició.
Bona idea, i maca foto.

Ya veo que ha sido toda una experiencia, llena de vida y sonrisas...

En este caso la dulzura de su gesto y esa sencilla pero tremenda sonrisa llenan toda la imagen.

Me gusta el contrapunto del color del vaso, genial...

You have chosen well because the little kid gives excellent portraits. I like his expression here, behind the blue glass. The focus was well chosen also!
