Photographer’s Note
I know that the leather tanneries in Fes are a bit of a cliche but they are great sights with all the dye colours and the coloured skins spread out to dry. Just viewing them is a money making concern as the only views are from leather shops.
I've selected a cropping from a wide angle shot for this posting. Things aren't as busy as they once were but the different activities and colours are still fascinating.

Hello Ian!
That place is so curious and interesting!
Your photo is very good and beautiful!
Sharpness, exposure, dof and colors are excellent!
The privileged high pov was a very good choice for this image and the composition is simple, but truly effective and quite attractive!
TFS - congratulations!

Hello Ian,
This place is fabulous!
It is a beautiful composition with an original angle of shooting.
I like the effect given by the yellow and orange skins drying on the rooftops
Best regards

Hi Ian, I don't find this shot cliched at all. It's an excellent Daily Life photo, with a great POV and beautifully rendered colours and shapes. Nice going! The only bad thing about the shot is that you've given me itchy feet again for a country that I now must put on my To Do List. Have a great weekend and TFS, Lisa.

Hello Ian,
It remains a fascinating and beautiful view... And this wide angle view showing how the tanneries are enclosed by housing is particularly interesdting.

Hallo Ian!
A really fascinating view - and an obviously very spevial place - and your point of view shows it very well. My son who also has been there still enthuses about the smell there ... ;-))
Greetings from autumnal grey and wet Germany!
