Photographer’s Note

I took it in a mosque near Motijhil, Lalbag, W.B. This mosque was built by Nawabs of Murshidabad. It is tourist spot of Lalbag. The calmness of this old mosque which I like most. Now I am sharing it with you. Hope you like it.

Zdravo, kod nas je pao prvi sneg.
Stara palata, vreme je ostavilo trag. Mnogo lepa fotografija, dobre boje i trenutak. Lepo uokvirena zelenilom.

Hello Subhendu ,
An beautiful framing , with the use of the palm at the top . This moque is really interesting . The cloud is a little overexposed , but it is a minor point .

there is an interesting post treatment that reminds of a canvas painting in this photo. I really like that effect. Very good capture of the old mosque in superb denifition and pleasant lighting. The white cloud is another interesting element to look at. The inclusion of the leaves as a natural framing also creates a nice mood. Well done!

Oh I know this mosque very well, I have seen it many times, but I never entered it. No need, I'm not a Muslim. I never photographed the way you did, good idea to give the building a "frame" with the gate. As you were holding your camera up, you got some tilted line. Possibly it could be straighten a bit, but not sure to which extend. What I would had done at your place would had been to not crop the door gate but to include it fully, but that is my personal choice. Otherwise good light management to produce vibrant colors and high sharpness. Well done

This is a beautiful POV looking through the arch of the palm leave. I like the texture of this really rustic mosque. Looks like once it was a glory place for worshiping. wonder why it is not taken care of. Thought I think it look really as a photography subject. Great composition you did here and good details. Interesting composition with this curve leaf on the top. I had never seen indian mosque so it's really a discovery for me.
I think it wasn't easy to find a good POV, this mosque is so big. Not easy to catch the entire architecture without big distorsions. And you succeeded.

I like this better than your cat-shot...for sure! For one I like the framing you've done with the leaf sweeping the upper border, then your low POV....together they work very well for the eyes. Only spot of OE in the cloud, and the other minor issue is the halo around the mosque more evident around the minarets...cloning is the only way out. Well done!

Hello Subhendu,

It is an impressive building, and the way you frame it it is like it is growing out of the jungle!
The tooth of time is clearly visible in the structure, where some vegetation is about to grab hold...
I miss some scaling but I have the feeling this is a large structure..!
