Photographer’s Note

In my way to "La Plaça del Rei" from the Barcelona Cathedral you can take this picture. It's in the street that connect that two places.

In fact, I took this picture from outside of "Las Buenas Migas" foccacceria.

I had the idea to turn the picture into B&W to focus out attention in the only light (obvioulsy, the other were on 10 second later....)

Nice idea, I like the superposition of the lanterns, but I think this is the "main" one that should be in focus...

I know this street, I was there just a month ago...

Lo mejor: consigues mantener una línea y una regularidad.

Lo peor: tu línea da asco y regularmente eres muy malo (como la estúpida profundidad de campo que usas en la foto).

Hola Òscar,
bona repetició d'elements en aquesta fila de fanals, on t'agraeixo que n'hagis deixat un en color (ja saps que per mí la vida és en color), però que ofereix un grafisme molt interessant.
El resultat és una foto que impacta ja al primer cop d'ull.
I el Gòtic sempre està fantàstic.
Maca feina.

gothic lamps...and I immediatly recognize those particular lamps from el barrio gotico.

Cliched no doubt..but that what i want..taking something out of the ordiinary..the mundane..what has been shot a thousand times on TE itself and yet producing something special..that stands out of a hundred pics..well done brother..and i will perhaps try the same thing in the near future ;))

Hola Oscar!

Muy bello "detalle" arquitectonico de Barcelona! Gran encuadre y composicion, muy buena idea la desaturacion parcial... pero aqui hay un tema con el enfoque. la primera lampara no esta enfocada, (me parece que el punto de enfoque esta en la tercera lampara), y con la desaturacion eso se hace mas "visible", no si me expreso muy bien.

Buena idea, buena ejecución...elegante y distinta, de muy buen ojo e intención foto gráfica, con un resultado sensible y sereno...muy buena...

El fin de semana pasado se celebró en Madrid el fín de semana "gótico"...pero era otra cosa... ;)

I like the way you desatured all the picture except the light, but I am wondering why the other lamps are not lit ?
I also like the frame featuring all lamps in a row, great perspective, OK but I am thinking about which lamp should have the maximum sharpness, is the middle one as it is the case here ir the first ?
