Pigeon Point Lighthouse Photo

Photographer’s Note

Pigeon Point Lighthouse, California USA ( about 20 miles south of Half Moon Bay near Pescadero.) The lighthouse is closed internally awaiting repairs. This is probably one of the most photographed lighthouses in the USA. (But not by me) Photo cropped, shadows corrected, leveled, and sharpened is PS.

The State now runs a Youth Hostel right next to the lighthouse. Info link from state:

A very nice perspective here, to show us this beautiful light house. Our glance is directly conducted at the lighthouse with those beautiful gates. Very nice colors and sharpness, well made !

I like this type of composition, with a line leading your eye to the main subject. Colors and light appear appropriate for location too - crisp and clean. Wish I was there! -Jenn
