Believe it or not, we had a great Great British summer this year. Seriously.
I could finally visit some places which were for few years on my list waiting for good weather. But I have also revisited some favourite spots. One of the revisited places was Lake District. I took again the boat trip along the second largest lake in this region, Ullswater. It is 11.8 km long and reaches the depth of 63 meters. Boat tours on this lake are much more interesting than on the bigger and more popular Windermere because the hills around it are taller and scenery more picturesque. At the southernmost point there is a sandy beach where you can enjoy a swim. This photo was taken from a boat.

I know this composition is not perfect. I did consider using the rule of thirds here but I wanted to keep both the people having barbecue on the hill and the boat and I wanted to get as close as possible to the scene.
