Another view from the Pieskowa Skala. This time proof, that this castle really Rocks ! ;)

Pieskowa Skala castle.
Situated on the jurassic rocks rising above the picturesque valley of the River Pradnik and surrounded by the forests of the Ojcow National Park, on the route of Eagles' Nests connecting ruins of 7 castles situated on the hills of the Cracow and Czestochowa Upland.

Pieskowa Skala Castle was first mentioned in 1315 as a stone castle funded by King Kazimierz Wielki (Casimir the Great). Expanded in the fifteenth century, it was turned into a stately Renaissance residence in the following century and fortified with new Italian style ramparts in the early seventeenth century. It has been a museum since 1966.

Merci pour tes appréciations. Toujours de superbes photos de chateau. Avec la roche au premier plan qui donne encore plus de profondeur aux remparts.

Bonjour Mat,
Une autre vue de ce nid d'aigle très agréable. Le château prend toute sa dimension (forteresse et élégance). La vue en contre-plongée augmente sa puissance.
Une excellente photographie qui mélange les styles au cours des siècles.

I've reviewed all three views of the Pieskowa Skala you posted so far and I like this one most. Point of view is absolutely perfect and makes nice, very dynamic composition. The detail of the rock in foreground is a nice enhancement. Well done!
