Spent a bit over a week hiking the Berner Oberland trek, via hotels (a.k.a. credit card treking) in celebration of my 40th birthday. Now that I'm back, I'm certainly "over the hill".

This was taken at the foot of Jung Frau at the path just above the Kleine Scheideag cog rail stop. The stop is a haven for tourists who desire to take the Jung Frau Bahn... the cog rail train to the "highest point in Europe".

We were just blessed with beautiful weather at the foot of this monster.

Wow!! This is really spectacular. People are so small and the glacier is so big!

Nice color!

A really excellent contrast between the colours! Could maybe see more of the sky?

great picture even though i also think that there should be more of the sky visible (without cutting the foreground...).
