Photographer’s Note
I am even a little bit embarassed to post this. Firstly, as I have been sooo busy and have not had any time for TE lately, and secondly that this is such a typical shot from me. (I am trying to take and post other than portrait shots, but......) its the interaction with the people than make travelling so fascinating for me, I may get tired with the landscape but I never tire of people. So sorry.
These two young girls I met in Hon Chong selling lottery tickets, I spent three days in Hon Chong and these two became 'models' for me, each day that I returned to the temple they appeared before my camera. The young girl in the hat I let have my camera for a while, did she enjoy herself, clickign away at her friends and playing the photos back, she was amazingly fast workign out how the playback worked. Lots of fun and nice memories of Hon Chong. I hope they brighten your day!

A sparking double portrait Elaine, you have a unique and subtle style that resides partly in thecoloring, which is almost...I sa,almost, like afiltered sequence in a film...on the yellow side of the ledger. To me it is your way to enshrining your memories the way one might remember something rather than exactly the way the light was then. Either that or you're always shooting during Glden Hour, and I'm a pompous as...
Lovely, as always.

Hi Elaine, do not apologize for the fact that you post typica, shots! RThey are very nice, and I liket the fact that you wrtite that you never get tired of people. It shows!
Lovely girls, with a lovely smile, a bit shy, and yet, probably eager to interact with that big white woman. The orange of the hat os so nice. Nice DoF!
BTW, I like the colors of the D70, they are often so natural, I never saturate, or change anything.

Two very beautiful girls and one funny-looked hat... I like it :)
Perfectly exposed and spot-on DoF. Congratulations with this shot... I'm keen on portraits so I'll have to go check out your other photos now.

Your portrait shots are really something...and this one is exceptional! I love the way the breeze is sort of taking the hair a bit on the girl on the left. Their smiles are really priceless!
